Wanna be a part of stand but don't have a Team in your area? Sounds like it's time to start your own! Through a few simple steps, you can be well on your way to having an official stand Team, spreading the word about the dangers of tobacco use to your friends, family and the rest of your community. Teams are usually county-wide!

Before you go to all the trouble though, be sure there isn't already a Team in your county that you can hook up with. For a full list of current Teams and their contact info, click here.

To start a Team, all you need is a few friends who are interested in taking a stand against tobacco and empowering each other it will grow from there.

Your first step is to take a look at the documents below and then e-mail Team coordinator, Lindsy, at lbreese@northlich.com. Lindsy will officially get you started, answer all your questions and make sure you get all the perks of being a stand Team.

You MUST have at least one adult who is willing to serve as the stand Team Advisor. While stand is just for you, the adult does some of the housekeeping stuff that you don't have time for since you'll be busy standing up and speaking out. To download the Advisor responsibilities, click here.
