On April 2005, 371 stand youth and 65 stand Advisors from 46 stand Teams across Ohio met in Columbus to build their movement and plan how to educate state legislators on the value of stand. See, stand's funding was in jeopardy and this dedicated group was ready to fight for it! Excited and motivated to work, stand Teams collaborated and shared ideas, as well as met new people and made new friends. stand youth had a blast as they attended training sessions such as stand Team Bash, stand up, speak out and Rock the Statehouse.. MTV star Mike "The MIZ" Mizanin even made an appearance and showed mad support for stand.
